HBADA Ergonomics Advisory Board

German IGR Ergonomics Certification

German IGR Ergonomics Certification is a globally recognized certification system that verifies products and work environments conform to ergonomic principles. Its purpose is to provide users with greater comfort, safety, and work efficiency.

Why E3?

The HBADA E3 is exactly that kind of chair.

Why do we prioritize support performance?

The HBADA E3 is designed to support the entire body, with a particular focus on the lumbar region. Sitting places significant strain on the lower back, and discomfort in that area is a common issue. Proper lumbar support helps alleviate that burden.

3-zone elastic lumbar support

Our 3-zone elastic lumbar support promotes muscle relaxation by supporting the natural curvature of the entire spine. Compared to traditional single-point support, it offers a bionic, body-hugging fit. Unlike conventional manual adjustment systems, our self-adaptation system provides optimal support in a more scientific and comfortable way.

4D Dual Axis Adjustable Headrest

Our innovative 4D Dual Axis Adjustable Headrest enhances the conventional single-axis design by adding multi-dimensional adjustability. It offers 45mm of vertical adjustment and 50mm of horizontal adjustment, providing superior neck support by conforming to the natural curve of your spine.

Rigorous testing and quality assurance

We conduct over 100 rigorous tests on each chair, covering load-bearing capacity, durability, material strength, and safety, to ensure a quality that provides a safe and comfortable experience for an extended period.
We conduct over 100 rigorous tests on each chair, covering load-bearing capacity, durability, material strength, and safety, to ensure a quality that provides a safe and comfortable experience for an extended period.

Backrest Load Capacity Test

Apply a 1001 N force to the backrest for 1 minute.

Dynamic Impact Load Test

An impact test was conducted by dropping a 136kg (300lbs) load onto the center of the seat.

Armrest Vertical Load Test

Apply a force of 1125N vertically to the armrest for 15 seconds.

Armrest Horizontal Load Test

Apply a horizontal force of 667 N to the armrest for 15 seconds.

Chair base static load test

Apply a force of 11120N to the chair base for 1 minute, and repeat the same test twice.

Backrest Static Strength Test

The backrest withstands a load exceeding 102 kgf for 60 seconds.

Seat Durability Test

A 57kg (125lbs) load is dropped onto the seat and subjected to 100,000 durability cycles.

Tilt Mechanism Test

Tilt the chair, apply a 109 kg (240 lbs) load to the center of the seat, and perform 300,000 test cycles.

Armrest Durability Test

The armrests were subjected to a durability test of 60,000 cycles with a 400N force applied to each.

Swivel Durability Test

The seat is adjusted to its maximum and minimum heights, and a 122 kg (270 lbs) load is applied at each position for 120,000 cycles to test durability.

Caster Durability Test

We conducted 2,000 cycles of testing with obstacles and 98,000 cycles without obstacles, applying a 122 kg load to the seat surface.

Package drop test

We conduct a shock drop test, dropping the packaging box 12 times from a height, to confirm its shock resistance during transportation.

Front Stability Test

Apply a 61 kg vertical load to a point 60 mm from the front edge of the seat, then apply a horizontal tensile force of 20 N or more.

Longitudinal Stability Test

Stack 13 discs, each weighing 10kg, one by one onto the backrest.
