Frequently Asked Questions
That's exactly what the HBADA E3 was built for. Most standard office chairs only give you static lumbar support, which usually stops working the second you shift your posture.
The E3 is different because it uses a split 3-zone dynamic support system. Whether you lean forward to code or lean back to think, the lumbar support pivots with you to keep your spine aligned.
By continuously supporting the lower back muscles that get stiff from long sessions, it helps you stay comfortable right through to the end of the day.
It easily does both. The design looks sharp enough for a professional WFH setup, but the performance is great for gaming. Because it's wrapped in a high-polymer airflow mesh, you won't get sweaty or sticky even during a 10-hour streaming marathon.
If you get the version with the pull-out footrest, you can drop the backrest down to 140° and instantly turn it into a relaxed setup for casual controller gaming or just winding down after a stream.
It's incredibly adjustable, so it fits a huge range of body types. The frame is reinforced with heavy-duty steel and a Class-4 gas lift, so it easily handles up to approx. 136kg without that annoying "sinking" feeling over time.
It also has over 20 adjustment points. You can change the backrest height, adjust the seat depth forward and back, and fine-tune the headrest. Whether you're approx. 155cm or 196cm tall, you can adjust it until it feels custom-made for your frame.
If you're used to thick foam cushions, you might be skeptical about a full-mesh seat. Foam feels great at first, but over long hours it traps heat, gets sweaty, and bottoms out, putting concentrated pressure on your tailbone.
The E3 uses a high-polymer woven mesh with high elasticity. It suspends your weight evenly so you feel like you're floating rather than sinking into a hard seat. Plus, it's highly breathable, so there's no swamp-back or overheating during summer heat or intense gaming sessions.
Most chairs in this price range hit a wall where they force you to compromise. One brand might give you decent mesh but a basic 2D lumbar pad that barely moves. Another might have a smooth recline but zero neck support, or charge you extra just to add a headrest.
The E3 is designed to cut out as many of those compromises as possible for under approx. ¥80,000. You get full 4D adaptive 3-zone lumbar tracking, a gravity-sensing recline of up to 140°, a built-in footrest, and 6D armrests, all included as standard. We put our money into the mechanical engineering rather than brand-name markups.
We engineered the E3 to bypass the traditional "one size fits all" trap by building in over 20 independent adjustment points. Supported by a heavy-duty steel base and a certified Class-4 gas lift, it safely holds up to approx. 136kg.
If you're taller (up to approx. 196cm), you can slide the seat depth forward and raise the independent backrest so your thighs and upper shoulders get full, native support. If you're on the shorter or lighter side (from approx. 155cm), you can pull the seat depth back and lower the headrest so the lumbar zones nestle perfectly into your lower spine without forcing your legs to dangle.
Not at all. We ship the E3 with the most tedious mechanical parts—like the complex 3-zone lumbar mechanism and the main chassis components—already pre-assembled in the box.
All you need to do is connect the base, secure the armrests and backrest with the included bolts, and click the headrest into place. All tools and clear step-by-step instructions are included.
Most users have it unboxed and completely ready to sit in within about 15 to 20 minutes.
1. Lumbar Tech: 3-Zone Dynamic Tracking vs. Responsive Elastic Flex
- E3 Pro | 3-Zone Dynamic Tracking: Engineered for users needing maximum spinal alignment and deep lower-back relief. The Pro features an active mechanical linkage targeting the L1–L5 region that physically tracks, lifts, and shifts depth with your body. Whether you slouch, lean sideways, or switch postures during long hours, the chair mechanically moves with you so your lower back is never left unsupported.
- E3 Air | Responsive Elastic Flex: The Air relies on a lighter, high-tension elastic mesh and responsive wing panels. It wraps around your waist naturally as you lean back, offering a spring-backed, adaptive feel that keeps you comfortable without the heavier, complex mechanical components.
2. Armrests: 720° Omni-Mechanical Articulation vs. Standard Adjustment
- E3 Pro | 720° Omni-Mechanical Armrests: Ideal for modern, multi-device professionals. Powered by a 360° + 360° dual-axis rotation system, they offer boundless freedom of movement—sliding forward/back, lifting up/down, pivoting side to side, and tilting upward seamlessly. Your elbows and wrists stay perfectly supported whether you are typing on a low-profile mechanical keyboard, holding a mobile device, or drawing on a tablet.
- E3 Air | Ergonomic Task Armrests: Optimized for traditional desktop productivity. They cover your standard height, depth, and angle adjustments to keep your wrists aligned with your keyboard and mouse during deep-focus typing sessions.
3. Adjustability & Frame: 20+ Precise Points vs. Streamlined Efficiency
- E3 Pro | Heavy-Duty Precision Workstation: Built with 20+ precise adjustment points (including a 60mm adjustable backrest height, 60mm seat depth, and a dual-axis headrest), the Pro features a wider, reinforced heavy-duty frame that provides rock-solid stability for taller and heavier users.
- E3 Air | Streamlined Task Chair: Tailored specifically for tight home offices, apartments, or smaller desks. The frame has a sleeker profile and a smaller overall footprint, allowing it to tuck away easily without visually cluttering your room.
4. Lounging & Material: 140° Gravity-Sensing Full Mesh vs. Task-Focused Agility
- E3 Pro | 140° Gravity-Sensing Recline & Premium Airflow Mesh: Your go-to for power naps and deep relaxation. It drops back to a deep 140° angle using an advanced gravity-sensing chassis that automatically balances resistance based on your weight. Wrapped entirely in a high-polymer airflow back and seat mesh, it keeps you cool and comfortable during both long focus sessions and breaks with the pull-out footrest.
- E3 Air | Lightweight Productivity: Focused purely on task efficiency. It reclines smoothly for midday stretches but leaves out the bulkier extensions to keep the chair nimble, lightweight, and easy to move around smaller workspaces.
