Are there any international transaction fees?
When you shop at Hbada's local store (for residents in Japan, please visit https://jp.hbada.com/), payments will be processed in Japanese Yen. However, if you pay by credit card, it will be treated as an international transaction, and your card-issuing bank may charge an additional fee of approximately 1-3%. We recommend confirming any fees with your card-issuing bank before placing an order. On the other hand, if you pay with PayPal, you don't need to worry about additional costs as PayPal handles currency conversion.
Why did my payment fail? (Troubleshooting)
If your payment fails, the following common reasons are usually considered:
- Insufficient funds/Exceeding credit limit: Please check your card balance or credit limit.
- Security block by bank: Some banks may detect furniture purchases as suspicious transactions, especially for first-time Hbada customers. We apologize for the inconvenience, but please contact your bank directly to approve the transaction.
- Billing address mismatch: Please ensure that the address you entered exactly matches the address registered with your card.
- Security authentication not completed: Payment may not have been completed due to a security check. Please also check if you have received any identity verification contact or notification from your bank.
- PayPal account issues: Please check if a valid payment method is set up in your PayPal account.

When will the payment be processed and settled?
Payment is authorized immediately upon order completion and processed (charged) within 24 hours of order confirmation. For pre-order items, the amount for the estimated release date may be charged at the time of reservation. All transactions will appear on your statement as "HBADA" or "HBADA-Furniture."

When you shop at an Hbada local store, you don't have to worry about any additional costs. Hbada handles all import procedures and taxes before delivery. The prices displayed when you place an order in Japan include all consumption taxes.
On the other hand, if you shop at a store outside your region (for example, if you live in Japan and order from hbada.com), additional import-related costs may apply. To avoid unexpected charges, we recommend using the local store that corresponds to your region.
Are my payment details secure with Hbada?

How many days does domestic delivery usually take in Japan?
